The public call under the slogan "Let's make equality a reality" aims at institutional strengthening of local mechanisms for gender equality. Through this call, the Government of Switzerland will support up to 30 local self-governments with 100,000 euros in strengthening the mechanisms that contribute to the promotion and advocacy of gender equality in local communities.

The right to participate in the public call have 96 cities and municipalities from the region of Šumadija and Western Serbia and the region of Southern and Eastern Serbia.

Local governments will be supported with up to 3,300 euros per project aimed at increasing women's participation in decision-making, improving the position of women in the local community in the fight against gender-based violence, women's health, economic empowerment, rural women, and rural women. members of vulnerable groups. Activities can also be aimed at improving the competencies of local mechanisms, as well as the promotion of the European Charter on Gender Equality at the local level.

The program especially encourages the establishment of inter-municipal and inter-institutional cooperation, and projects identified in local action plans for gender equality will be additionally evaluated.
